Requirements to Volunteer

Proof of tuberculosis (TB) clearance
Written parental consent for volunteers under 18
Background check required for adult volunteers
Reliable transportation to and from the nursing home
Ability to safely transport residents in wheelchairs
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and engage in activities with residents under the guidance of activity staff
Patience, good listening skills, and a genuine enjoyment of spending time with older adults.
